First of first of first

Hello there!

This blog really will have no direction. It'll be about random thoughts, activity's, experiences, likes and dislikes of a random girl.

Here is an update about what has been going on in the last six months.

1) Got engaged
2) Started nursing clinicals
3) Went part time at work
4) Planned a wedding in Arizona
5) Finished first semester of clinicals
6) John got laid off
7) John got recruted in Chandler Arizona
8) Got married in Chandler
9) Honeymoon in Disney world
10) Went back to Delaware and packed up everything we own
11) Drove across the country
12) Got a house in Chandler

Numbers 5-12 all happened within 2 weeks. Needless to say it wasn't the most stress free wedding but honestly it all went quite seamless thanks to the help of my wonderful family and in-laws.

I'll blog about those events later. I think the whole story is worth going into detail about.

So what have I been up to now? Mostly nothing really. I got the house together and I'm trying to find a nursing school and a job. I've been trying to entertain myself with cooking and picking up knitting again.

I tried to make homemade marshmallows and caramels. They were... in need of a second try.

After a lot of deliberation (whether or not to work on something I can't wear in this over 100 degree weather) I started a cardigan.

And thats about it really...

  2. Really? Wasn't it the time of your life! Originally we were booked at the Port Orleans but when we discovered they gave us two double beds (its our honeymoon!) we requested a king. The only way they could accommodate us was to move resorts so we ended up at Carribian Beach. It was nice and I liked the "beachy" atmosphere but I have to say I thought the Port Orleans was much more charming.

  3. I've stayed at Port Orleans, French Quarter, and it was fabulous! We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and fell in love. We're going again next May, and staying there <3
